Tools used and data processed

Google Analytics by Google LLC, located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. Google Analytics uses the following personal data for processing traffic statistics:

  • IP address to determine the approximate location of the user. We anonymise the IP address before it is received by Google’s servers by replacing the last part of the IP address with zero. Thanks to geolocation, we can better analyse which cities, regions or countries our website users come from. This data is only available in aggregate in Google Analytics and cannot be determined for any single specific visitor.
  • A so-called cookie with a cid identifier. This identifier is used to determine whether a visitor is on the website for the first time. It also helps us attribute new traffic to various sources and better allocate advertising budgets.
  • We have Google Analytics linked with other Google tools: Search Console. Thanks to this integration, we can see aggregated search traffic data in one place.
  • We collect information about where you came to our website from, which pages you visited, what you did on them, and how long you spent on the website. We also collect data about the technologies you use: we estimate the device type, operating system, and web browser version. This allows us to improve the website so that it works better for you on all devices. This data is difficult to link to individuals, and we do not actively try to identify specific natural persons – we only know that someone from one browser visited this or that page.

You can find the current overview of personal data processed by Google LLC at https://privacy.google.com/businesses/adsservices/. Information about how personal data is protected can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

If you want to block the sending of anonymous statistics via Google Analytics, you can use the plugin provided by Google. This plugin needs to be downloaded and installed in your browser. Please note, however, that this plugin needs to be installed in every browser on every device you use, and anonymous statistics will not be sent to Google Analytics from any of the websites you visit.

We retain data relating to individual user actions in Google Analytics for a period of 50 months.

Cookies and storing information on your computer

What are cookies?

These are small data files that are necessary for certain website functions, such as logging in. Thanks to cookies, websites can also remember various settings, such as language, font and other options that you have chosen for displaying the pages. This is why we place cookies on your computer. Most large websites and providers do the same.

What types of cookies are there?

Cookies can be divided according to their lifespan and according to who places them on your computer. According to their lifespan, they can be divided into two categories:

  • Short-term (session cookie) – they remain in your browser until you close your browser, after which they are deleted.
  • Long-term (persistent cookie) – they remain stored in the browser for a long time (depending on your browser settings and cookie settings) or until you manually remove them.

According to who creates and processes cookies, they can be divided into two categories:

  • First-party cookies – created directly by the website or scripts on the same domain. They most commonly serve to ensure basic website functionality.
  • Third-party cookies – created by other scripts. These are most commonly cookies from advertising systems, social network widgets or embedded videos.
What cookies do we use on this website?
  • Technical (first-party, short-term) – necessary to ensure the elementary function of the pages, i.e. adding products to the cart, the purchase process and displaying the page version requiring JavaScript or without it.
  • Google Analytics (first-party, long-term) – a cookie with a unique and anonymous browser identifier is stored to distinguish new and returning visitors.
  • Social networks (third-party, short-term and long-term) – for marketing purposes.

We never use cookies to personally identify you, and we never place sensitive or personal data in them.

How to manage cookie usage
